Pam Windle

Dr. Pamela Windle, a nurse consultant, was recently the manager of the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Endoscopy Recovery, Day Surgery Center, CVPreop & Recovery at CHI Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, Houston, Texas. Pam's experience includes nurse manager in critical care areas, CVICU, Transplant Recovery, 23-hr Surgical Observation Unit, Endoscopy departments, and Ambulatory Outpatient Surgery.

Pam has served in numerous leadership roles in several professional organizations including: AACN, Sigma Theta Tau International, Texas Nurses Association, Philippine Nurses Association of America, and the Council on Surgical & Perioperative Safety. She is a past President of: the Philippine Nurses Association of Metropolitan Houston, TNA District 9, Texas Association of PeriAnesthesia Nurses, and the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses. As the 26th ASPAN President, Pam focused on patient and workplace safety.

Pam was the JoPAN Research Columnist, currently on the editorial board, and the co-editor of the PeriAnesthesia Nursing Core Curriculum book. Pam has published numerous journal articles, book chapters, and has delivered numerous presentations nationally & internationally.

Pam received her BSN at Silliman University, Philippines, her Master of Science in Nursing Administration at Texas Woman's University, and her DNP in Nursing Leadership & Administration from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Texas. Pam is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and is a recipient of ASPAN's Outstanding Achievement Award. She was honored by Silliman University as an Outstanding Alumna and received the Dean Roble Medallion of Honor Award from the College of Nursing. Pam was among the first Fellow of the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses, inducted in 2018.

Cancellation Policy: Full refund upon receipt of documented notice of cancellation postmarked 30 days or more preceding seminar date. An administrative fee of 20% will be charged for any cancellation postmarked 29 days or less preceding one week of the seminar date. Please note that seminars cancelled within one week or less of the seminar date will not be eligible for a refund. This cancellation policy applies regardless of when you register.  Refund will be determined by the date notice is received in the ASPAN National Office in Cherry Hill, NJ.
