Nancy Strzyzewski, MSN, RN, CPAN, CAPA
After several years of experience working as a Phase I PACU nurse, Nancy became a Perianesthesia nurse educator.
She recently worked at the University of Michigan where she was the PACU Education department supervisor, responsible for coordinating education at the University hospital as well as Mott Children’s Hospital and the Cardiovascular Care hospital.
Her experience also includes caring for pediatric and adult patients in Preop, Phase I and Phase II nursing care.
Nancy has been an ASPAN member for the past 100 years. She served on the ASPAN Board of Directors for 2 terms as the Director for Education and has been a long time member of the Education Provider committee. Nancy has been a national speaker for ASPAN since 2003. She is also an active board member for her home component – the Michigan Association of Perianesthesia Nurses.
