Target Audience: All perianesthesia nurses

Outcome: To enable the nurse to increase knowledge on malignant hyperthermia and postoperative nausea and vomiting

Case Presentations:  Any case studies discussed during the program are fictional and do not reflect any real persons or events

Requirements for successful completion:  To successfully complete this program, you must attend the program in its entirety, complete the online evaluation, and achieve 100% on the posttest, prior to the deadline.  Complete within two weeks (14 days) to receive contact hour credit.

Lynn Sekeres, MSN, BS, RN, CPAN (Ret), CAPA (Ret)

Lynn has worked as a staff nurse in the Phase I PACU of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for over 30 years and is now retired.  Her BSN is from Penn State and her MSN is from Duquesne University with a specialty in Nursing Education.  She is certified as a CPAN and CAPA.

She is a past president of the Pennsylvania Association of PeriAnesthesia Nurses and is currently their membership chair.

Lynn served ASPAN as the National Conference SWT coordinator for the Philadelphia National Conference and as the Education Approver Chair for 6 years and continues on that committee.

She has been a National Speaker for ASPAN for 9 years.

Full refund upon receipt of cancellation date-stamped 30 days or more preceding webcast date.  An administrative fee of 20% will be charged for any cancellation date-stamped 29 days or less preceding one week of the webcast date.  Webcasts cancelled within one week or less of the webcast date are not eligible for a refund.  This cancellation policy applies regardless of when you register.
