Target Audience: All perianesthesia nurses

Outcome: To enable the nurse to increase knowledge on key leadership principles that are foundational to developing high performance teams who evaluate system failures, learn from defects, and design safety improvement plans demonstrated by 100% of the participants scoring 100% on the posttest

Case Presentations: Any case studies discussed during the program are fictional and do not reflect any real persons or events

Requirements for successful completion: To successfully complete this program, you must attend the program in its entirety, complete the online evaluation, and achieve 100% on the posttest, prior to the deadline.  Complete within two weeks (14 days) to receive contact hour credit.

American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses, (ASPAN) is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

STANDARDS FOR INTEGRITY AND INDEPENDENCE

The ASPAN ANCC Accredited Provider Unit will collect information from all individuals in a position to control content regarding financial relationships with ineligible companies, analyze the data for relevant financial relationships related to the educational content, and mitigate relevant financial relationships. The results of this analysis will be reported in the course presentation materials on the required handout.

ASPAN Student Member (unlicensed only/no contact hours) - FREE

Registration cannot be processed without appropriate tuition payment.

Please note that if you are in the RETIRED or STUDENT Membership category, you cannot earn contact hours through ASPAN.  If you wish to receive contact hours, contact the National Office to update your membership to the ACTIVE Membership category.

Non-Members: Full refund if cancelled 30+ days before the webcast; 20% fee if cancelled 8 - 29 days before.  No cancellations, refunds, or transfers within 7 days.
