This session will explore the educational resources that established the structure, guidelines, and standards of the on-call process after the discovery of cross unit knowledge gaps, different skill mixes and nursing experience, and staff dissatisfaction in a Phase I PACU setting. These discoveries established the foundation to reform the current on-call process.
