The creation and implementation of new pediatric discharge criteria for post-operative phases 1 and 2. We will explore the principles of change management in a hospital setting. We identified a need for clear guidelines to determine when children can leave these phases, so we developed evidence-based criteria with input from internal and external experts. Our goal was to improve recovery, enhance safety, and empower families.
