Perianesthesia Leadership Academy

ASPAN wants to be part of preparing you to be an exceptional leader.  Perianesthesia nurse leaders are fundamental to the leadership and management of clinical excellence, healthcare facility success, and the promotion of a just culture.  Our clinical nurses need effective leaders to thrive at the bedside.  ASPAN has answered the call to support our perianesthesia leaders to develop and advance their skills.  This program will provide the nursing leader with contemporary information and materials to support their success as a transformational perianesthesia leader.   

Outcome: To enable the nurse to increase knowledge on leadership in the perianesthesia setting demonstrated by 80% or more of the participants providing knowledge gained from the program in the self-report question on the evaluation

Target Audience: All perianesthesia nurses

Case Presentations:  Any case studies discussed during the program are fictional and do not reflect any real persons or events

Requirements for successful completion:  To successfully complete this program, you must attend the program in its entirety, complete the online evaluation, and achieve 100% on the posttest, prior to the deadline.  Complete within two weeks (14 days) to receive contact hour credit.
