Welcome to the 2026 Winter/Spring session of webcasts and seminars for perianesthesia nursing professional development. Here you will find the listing of all webcasts and in-person seminars.  ASPAN provides webcasts in two-hour, four-hour, and full-day formats.  All webcasts are available at no cost to members.  We also offer in-person all day seminars with associated registration fees.

In today's dynamic and rapidly evolving environment, the fields of education and the incorporation of AI into professional practice present significant challenges. Staying up to date in a rapidly changing world requires ongoing learning from trusted professionals.

Socrates said, “Education is the kindling of a flame, not the filling of a vessel.”1 So, where do we go to light this flame for education?  We come to ASPAN, the premier organization for perianesthesia nursing professional development. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of our multi-generational membership. ASPAN’s programs are regularly reviewed and updated to provide you with the latest evidence-based practices. All presentations are delivered by nationally recognized perianesthesia experts.  Completing the evaluation is vital to ensure your feedback is heard and educational needs are met.

My theme for this year is “Moving to the Future and Accepting the Challenges.” Please mark your calendars, and remember this quote by Malcolm X, “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.”2
