Terry Clifford, MSN, RN, CPAN, CAPA, FASPAN
Terry currently works at Northern Light Mercy Hospital in Portland Maine as the Nurse Manager of Perioperative Services. In addition to her duties in Portland, she also works as the Nurse Liaison for Special Projects for the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses. In this role, she participates in special projects, publications, and education development.
Terry is the 2009-2010 Past President of the American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses. She previously served as the Director for Clinical Practice and as Regional Director for Region IV. She currently writes a Practice Corner column for the Journal of PeriAnesthesia Nurses and has recently co-authored the 4th edition of Certification Review for Perianesthesia Nursing.
Terry has also served ASPAN in a variety of roles on a variety of committees and strategic work teams including Education Provider, offering perianesthesia seminars across the country. Terry was inducted in 2018 as a Fellow of the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses.
