Perianesthesia nurses must always be prepared for the unexpected emergency. Using a case study approach, this session presents patient scenarios with an unusual or unexpected clinical assessment. With audience participation a diagnosis is made! Appropriate interventions are discussed to ensure safe patient outcomes.
