Perianesthesia nurses can be sued for negligence. This presentation will focus on the different legal perspectives that perianesthesia nurses may be clinically implicated for common causes, especially in the postanesthesia care unit (PACU). Additionally, the malpractice litigation process will be reviewed from initial interrogatories, preparing for deposition testimony, to testifying in court.
