This session introduces preoperative triage, where a dedicated team member uses time spent in the waiting room to complete early screening before patients are brought back to Preop. By shifting this work upstream, the team streamlined care, identified potential cancellations earlier, and boosted nurse satisfaction in the perianesthesia setting.
