209 - Beyond the Monitor: Artificial Intelligence at the Bedside in Perianesthesia Nursing

Artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly present within clinical environments and may influence patient assessment, monitoring, communication, and care delivery across the perianesthesia continuum. This session examines the practical implications of AI at the bedside, focusing on how nurses can evaluate AI-supported information, recognize opportunities and limitations, and maintain patient-centered care. Participants will explore professional, ethical, and safety considerations while discussing the evolving role of the perianesthesia nurse in an AI-enabled healthcare environment.
