The perianesthesia work environment is dependent upon teamwork and can be potentially negatively impacted if there are several generations working together in the same setting without proper education and leadership to deal with the differences in outlook and work practices between the generations. Understanding and accepting generational differences may enhance team efficiency and diminish generational conflict.
