Over 5 million adults in the US live with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders and need frequent medical services. A continuum of care was developed with parents/caregivers and the perianesthesia team to mitigate these challenges among pediatrics and adults with special needs. This session presents a collaborative approach to meet the unique needs of this growing population.
