103 - Pediatric Safety Bundles for the PACU

In this session, participants will explore the development of Pediatric Safety Bundles for the PACU, focusing on creating standardized checklists for airway management, pain control, temperature regulation, IV fluids, and prevention of PONV and OIRD. The session will highlight strategies for improving the handoff process from OR → PACU → home, ensuring consistency and clarity across transitions. Attendees will also learn how to incorporate ASPAN pediatric recommendations into everyday practice while strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance safety and outcomes for pediatric patients.
